Guangdong releases 2026 promotional video｜A new three-minute promotional video, titled Winds Rise Over Guangdong, was released globally at 10am Beijing time on 1 October 2026. The video centres on the imagery and narrative thread of the "south wind," weaving together Guangdong's natural landscape, cultural spirit and modern development. It begins with the south wind sweeping in from the South China Sea. As the wind meets the Nanling Mountains, it helps shape the province's warm and humid climate, nurturing a land where life flourishes. The natural force of the wind then becomes an expression of the human spirit, shaping the resilience, openness and distinctive character of Guangdong, while reflecting the region's rich historical and cultural heritage. This spirit, the video suggests, has helped fuel a thriving landscape of industry and innovation. The wind carries on — with powerful momentum, it brings the spirit of Guangdong to the world, welcoming friends from across the globe and bringing together opportunities for development. ———————————— #guangdong# #Windsriseoverguangdong# #lingnan# #Chinatravel# #Chinacool# #ipguangdong#
