AJC explains how traders should approach copy trading on fomo:
DineroDom: “What are the best practices for copy trading and following accounts?”
AJC: “I’m so bullish on fomo. I think this is the next breakout social media application. If it can scale to tens and hundreds of millions of users, the sky really is the limit.”
“I personally look down upon people who post a really bullish thesis and then an hour later they’re full stack in their position.”
“I value my reputation a lot more than a couple thousand dollars. If I buy something that’s a bad trade and I plan on scaling or selling, I’ll update my thesis and give people a heads up.”
“If the difference between me losing $5K and $10K is protecting my reputation, that’s an easy decision. My reputation is probably a lot more valuable than my total fomo account.”
“Just generally, try to be honest. Don’t deceive people. If you don’t actually have a strong thesis on something, don’t tell people it’s the greatest play ever and then nuke the position when the chart goes down 10%.”
“If you do have a big position, you don’t necessarily need to full stack and get out as quickly as possible. The UPNL is kind of real, especially once you have massive exchange listings.”
“Everything with this $PONS trade I’ve been doing in public, so I’m going to keep doing it in public.”
