Overnight, Russia launched a combined missile and drone attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region. Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Chernihiv, Poltava, and Mykolaiv regions were also targeted. At least four people have been killed, including a three-year-old boy. Eight others were injured, including another child. My deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed. In Kyiv, Russian strikes hit three districts – Holosiivskyi, Obolonskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi. Businesses, warehouses, a residential building, garages, and vehicles were damaged. A warehouse caught fire. In the Kyiv region, ten residential buildings, a business, outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged. I thank our air defense forces, rescuers, medics, police officers, municipal workers, and everyone who protected our people overnight and is now helping those affected.
