Freedom fighters of the Afghanistan Freedom Front launched rocket attacks at around 8:30 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2026, against the Kabul military airfield under Taliban control. Following recent attacks on the Kunduz military airport, this chain of targeted operations has now reached the enemy’s transport and military facilities in the country’s capital, Kabul. According to AFF sources, after successive defeats in the Zibak district of Badakhshan province, the Taliban have been moving domestic and foreign terrorists through the Kabul, Kunduz, Kandahar and Balkh airfields to Badakhshan. As a result of these rocket attacks, heavy damage was inflicted on the military facilities of Kabul airport and a number of Taliban terrorists were killed and wounded. However, the exact figures of enemy casualties and damage are not yet available.
