I can't really remember, it was a gradual "click". Probably when I started thinking of it as a kind of "skills repository" that you can search. After that, the packages concept made perfect sense. The only reason I use MCP most of the time, is that it's easier than skills to setup... And I don't want to have to set them up all over the place (since most skills required an API token, and that's annoying to manage). Now I can move all over the place with my ai, and the only MCP I need is Kody.

Finally got stuck into kody by @kentcdodds and am RIPPING out MCPs one at a time. This is wonderful. I'll go from 12 MCPs that I constantly have to toggle on/off to 2: - Kody - Laravel Boost Then I'll start tackling skills. Don't sleep on kody, this thing is incredible!
