I dug more into the “Promise to America” pledge @SenatorBanks discussed with @ScottJenningsKY— here are the 6 principles 202 of 212 House Dems refused to affirm: 1) We are capitalist, not socialist 2) We want safety, not lawlessness (secure borders and safe communities) 3) We are responsible, not reckless (fiscal discipline) 4) We believe government should solve problems, not create them (accountable public institutions) 5) We are mainstream, not extreme (rejecting extremism) 6) We are proud, not ashamed of America (affirming confidence and pride in the United States) 96% of House Democrats.
