JPMorgan sees HBM industry revenue potentially growing ~2.5x in 2027 as ~63% bit growth meets ~54% higher pricing.
That gets even more important as HBM’s share of DRAM capacity rises from 19% to 31% by 2028 pulling supply away from conventional DRAM and keeping the broader market tighter.
That tightness is already showing up in $MU $150B RPO with $32B of prepayments and ~75% of 2027 bits locked while leaving more of the out years open if shortage lasts through 2028.
