Italian Parliament: The Iranian Crisis and a Democratic Solution for the Future
Today, Thursday, views were exchanged during sessions at the Italian Senate and Parliament on the latest developments in Iran.
A conference in the Regina Hall of the Italian Parliament was presided over by Mr. Fabio Rampelli, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, and featured speeches by lawmakers from both houses, as well as addresses by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Patrick Kennedy.
In the session of Parliament, a statement signed by a majority of members from both chambers of the Italian Parliament was presented. In the statement, the majority of members declare their support for the provisional government announced by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) tasked with transferring sovereignty to the Iranian people and establishing a democratic republic based on the Resistance's Ten-Point Plan.
