A few updates:
– A glacier broke/shifted along the Tibet/Nepal border
– The sudden shift released the equivalent of 950 tons of TNT detonating
– That allowed a glacial lake to essentially drain into the Triushuli River
– River swelled 50-100+ feet in height and 5X in width

Here’s my view of this morning’s rocket launch from Washington D.C.:
We need to get better at how we communicate tropical storm/hurricane hazards.
With most products, a watch connotes possibility, and a warning represents likelihood.
Having a tropical storm warning up for 10-15 mph winds is confusing, silly and pointless.
