I’d never let Grok Bot blindly implement advice I find on X.
NOT EVEN IF THE ADVICE CAME FROM ME.
Every new prompt, guide, skill or “best practice” should pass through an ADVICE INTAKE GATE first:
1 - ALREADY DOING
Check whether your current setup already achieves the same outcome.
Don’t add another instruction just because someone described it differently.
2 - ADOPT
The advice solves a real problem you have and doesn’t conflict with your existing setup.
Add it deliberately.
3 - SANDBOX
The idea looks useful, but you don’t know what it will affect.
Test it separately before changing your working system.
4 - REJECT
It solves a problem you don’t have, duplicates something existing, adds unnecessary complexity or makes your setup worse.
Ignore it.
Before Grok Bot changes anything, I’d also make it tell me:
What will change?
What existing instructions could this conflict with?
What problem does this actually solve for me?
How will we know if it improved the system?
What is the rollback plan?
There is so much AI advice being shared now that consuming more of it can actually make your setup worse.
Treat advice like code.
Review it before you merge it.
