We said we were going to move fast. We meant it.
Less than two weeks after @POTUS launched the U.S. Space Academy effort, the Commission has met, the RFI is out, and states now have a chance to help shape where this legacy institution will call home.

Today, we held the first working session of the Presidential Commission charged with developing the framework for this new institution, bringing together @SecWar, @SecAFOfficial, and leaders from @NASA, @WHOMB, @WHOSTP47, @WhiteHouse, and across the Administration.
Over the next 120 days, we have a lot to figure out in our report to the President: governance, curriculum, service pathways, location, implementation, and more.
That work starts now. We have an extraordinary group around the table, a clear mandate from @POTUS, and a responsibility to build this the right way to invest in Americaโs future in space.
