Colors at night are beautiful when looking at Earth at night. Here you can see blues from the squid boats, the bright lights of cities, storms, and the milkyway, stars, and galaxies rising in the sky. This was shot from the Dragon forward window with 3 second exposures and stitched together into a timelapse. That's what it looks like through the window; just, a little slower.

Just when you think the view can’t get any better… 🌌
Southern Hemisphere Milky Way galaxy view from the @Space_Station cupola. This 3s exposure series captured two of my favorite cupola views, the particularly dense Milky Way galaxy as seen from the Southern Hemisphere, and the bright, colorful lights of squid fishing boats (here, the bright blue and green lights off the coast of China, Thailand and India). The @SpaceX Crew-12 members aboard the International Space Station talk to the media live on @NASA+ at 2:45 p.m. EDT today.
.@NASA and @SpaceX are now targeting as soon as early October for the launch of the Crew-13 mission to allow for completion of prelaunch activities, readiness reviews, and coordination of space station operations. The team successfully replaced an oxidizer valve in Dragon’s propulsion system after a leak was detected earlier in processing.

Booster stacking for the @NASAArtemis III Space Launch System rocket is nearly complete!
Each booster stands 177 feet tall and will provide the majority of the 8.8 million pounds of thrust to propel four astronauts inside the Orion spacecraft on their journey to low Earth orbit.
