It’s time I let the cat out of the bag for those of us building from the ground up on X. When you first show up on a new platform especially here on X, you need some guidance from people who've been around longer. That's normal. What isn't normal is how fast most of you lose yourselves, your clarity, and your direction because of the noise you swallow from the so-called big accounts and "mentors." The reality of the matter is: Some of those big accounts aren't making money right now - X paused their payouts. Some don't earn nearly as much as they act like they do. Some aren't who they pretend to be. Some deliberately paint a false picture of themselves just to cash in on other people's ignorance. And when there's an update or a new feature on X They deliver the news in the most fear-inducing way possible when it could just as easily be explained clearly and calmly. You end up feeding on that ugly communication style. Your clarity disappears, and eventually, so does your confidence. You start believing you can't figure anything out without them. Suddenly even basic instructions feel hard. Distraction takes over. Looking up to someone is okay. Having a mentor is fine. Just don't hand them your brain. Do what works for you. Trust yourself. Use X without being scared of it.
