I can't believe this deal is still on at Tesla.
The car comes with the FSD computer.
When FSD is legal in the UK (est 2027) you'll be able to activate it with a a subscription

This is a great way to understand how the regulations feel like they are blocking Tesla FSD's progress
(and how FSD will eventually get approved!).

If your country is highlighted on this map, then it is a contracting party to the UNECE DCAS regulations.
This means that R 171 (Series 02) will become effective in your country in January as long as:
1. Your country does not object before January 2027
2. A valid type approval is approved somewhere in one of these countries (likely the Netherlands - RDW)
If Tesla adjusts FSD (Supervised) technology to comply with this regulation, then you might get FSD Supervised much sooner than you think:

I have been on the fence regarding a merger between Tesla and SpaceX.
I have now drifted towards this happening sooner rather than later.
I'm no expert in this field but I'm seeing a lot of small things add up.
It's a bit like FSD, I've been mostly successful in calling the hype out and presenting the facts recently.
On that note, it's seems more obvious to me that dozens of countries are soon to get FSD (Supervised)
When I say soon, I mean Q1/Q2 next year (via UNECE R171 regulation) see my pinned post for more info on this.

Most people still don’t understand why Tesla FSD Supervised is type-approved in the Netherlands but isn’t widely available across the rest of the EU and 🇬🇧 UK yet.
It’s not a Tesla delay (as such).
