To date, this makes it the only solution for every project that will want to comply with the framework imposed by the SEC.
The fact that one of the top protocols on the chain is the first integration bodes well for what comes next.

New on OnRecord: every closed ballot now shows how the funds voted.
BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street file a public record of every vote they cast, down to the individual proposal. We pulled it and put it next to the tokenized holder tally on the same screen.
So for any company on the chain you can see three numbers: what the funds did, what holders here want, and what actually passed.
They own roughly a third of the market between them. You now get to see when you disagree with them, on the record, before the meeting.

The SEC just settled the argument everyone's been having for two weeks.
Order 34-106402, issued Thursday. To qualify as a tokenized stock in the US, a token must give holders the same rights and privileges as the real share. Dividends and voting rights, in the text. Products that only track a price are explicitly excluded under a condition the SEC literally titled "No Synthetics."
Voting stopped being a roadmap item. It's the definition.
Robinhood Chain built the largest tokenized stock market in the world in three months. Whatever the offshore structure is today, the standard is now written down, and the part that was missing was never the shares or the law. It was a way to know what holders want.
OnRecord is now the only available place to do it. Every proposal from every proxy card, signed by wallets, weighted at the record block, attested onchain. Anyone can verify it, including the issuer.

TODAY🚨: The SEC proposed rescinding Rule 14a-8, which exceeds the scope of the agency's statutory authority and intrudes into matters of state law.
The SEC also proposed amendments to Rule 14a-4(c) to provide companies with greater flexibility and shareholders with greater control regarding proposals for which a company may seek discretionary proxy voting authority.

AMC is asking shareholders to declassify its board on the 24th.
They asked the same thing last year. It won among the shares that actually voted, and it still failed, because it needs a majority of every outstanding share and not enough people showed up. Every share that stays silent counts as a no.
So the proposal is back, unchanged, for the second year running.
For two weeks the argument has been that tokenized holders aren't real shareholders. Meanwhile the thing actually blocking AMC's governance reform isn't tokenized holders. It's turnout.
