In war, such as in Lebanon, Gaza, Ukraine, and beyond, the use of Al can increase risks for civilians. When Al helps make these decisions, civilians face greater risks. AI is being used in military decision-making to help select targets and support life-or-death decisions faster and on a greater scale. Al can be unpredictable. It is only as reliable as the information that feeds it. Automation bias can enable flawed decisions. Al must not replace human decision-making in armed conflict. It must always be used in a manner that respects international humanitarian law. #NotATarget#
