We are profoundly saddened by the loss of more than 160 lives and by the anguish endured by the families of those who remain missing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods in this heartbreaking tragedy. In this time of grief, Slovakia stands in solidarity with the affected communities and expresses its sincere appreciation to the rescue workers, volunteers, and emergency personnel whose courage and dedication are bringing hope amid immense hardship.
