Then I checked the transaction… 0.0025 ZEC fee. If they did the same for ~10,000 wallets, that’s 25 ZEC in fees alone. At ~$1,578/ZEC, that’s roughly $39,450 just in transaction fees 💀 Plus the ZEC actually sent. Spending ~$40K+ just to make sure the distribution is done properly and onchain is a pretty wild detail. They really said: privacy has a price.
