We just rolled out Quote Simulation on LI.​FI for our enterprise partners. If we’ve learned anything from building in crypto over the past five years, it’s that markets change rapidly, and the quotes users see on their screens aren’t always what ultimately gets executed. This has been a massive pain point for users and, in turn, for the teams building crypto products. It is a real problem with no standardized solution, because every liquidity protocol works differently. But we all know that this is simply not the user experience we should be delivering, and that there is significant room for improvement. That’s what we’re attempting to fix with Quote Simulation on LI.​FI. Before LI.​FI proposes a quote, the underlying route is simulated against the current onchain state of the market. If it fails to execute in simulation, it is filtered out and never shown to the user. The early results from testing this in production with select enterprises show that the approach works. We were able to reduce failed transactions by more than 70%, without any measurable impact on quote latency. Shipping improvements like this is how I see LI.​FI being an excellent partner for enterprise customers. Our job is to absorb the complexity of these markets and give enterprises the infrastructure they need to deliver world-class digital asset products.
