"What would you do with an infinite army of software engineers?" That's how @ScottWu46, CEO of @Cognition, opened his keynote at RAISE Summit 2026. Not a thought experiment about the future. A question about right now. From November 2025 to April 2026, Cognition shipped 10x more software with only a 40% increase in headcount. Devon, their AI software engineer, went from writing 13% of their code in December 2025 to over 90% by April 2026, and most of its work now starts without a human prompting it at all. His answer to the obvious follow-up, "what happens to human engineers?", wasn't needing fewer of them. It was that every engineer becomes 10x more productive, while the backlog of things worth building is 10x bigger than anyone's ever been staffed for. The DMV that doesn't work. The medical portal nobody enjoys using. That's not a shortage of ambition. It's a shortage of engineers, and that constraint just started loosening. He closed the keynote the same way he opened it. By the end, the question isn't rhetorical anymore. What would you do with an infinite army of software engineers?

Projects finishing ahead of schedule. Engineers self-funding work that never made the business case before. A consistent 20% net productivity gain across the board. @marcoargenti, CIO of @GoldmanSachs, doesn't throw numbers around loosely. So when he shared those figures at RAISE Summit, in conversation with @TomMackenzieTV (@business), the room paid attention. The shift he described: engineers used to start from a napkin sketch. Now they vibe-code a rough version first. Not production-ready, but close enough to show a client exactly what they're getting. Then the real work begins, swapping paper walls for steel, hardening the architecture underneath. The productivity gains are real. But Argenti was equally clear about where the line stays human. Final decisions don't get outsourced. That's judgment, and he hasn't seen evidence yet that AI judgment beats human judgment when it counts. One of the world's most influential financial institutions is rethinking how work gets done. The results are already showing up in the numbers. Watch the full conversation:

A young snake sheds its skin every two to four weeks. @thisisgrantlee , Co-Founder & CEO of @GammaApp, used that image at RAISE Summit to describe what building in AI actually feels like right now. Not a single launch. Not a pivot. A constant cycle of invention to reinvention, shedding and rebuilding faster than most companies can keep up. His thesis: models are the steel of this generation. But steel was never the moat. It's general-purpose, it's commoditising, and open source is closing the gap fast. The edge belongs to whoever turns that raw material into something purpose-built. Gamma has lived that. $100M ARR. 70 million users. A team of 50 people. And yesterday, an acquisition of Accel-backed design startup Lica World, building out their own design research lab as the product expands beyond presentations into the full visual stack. On the human side, Grant was clear: the best salespeople don't win on efficiency. They win on relationships. The goal was never to replace that, it was to clear everything else out of the way. The snake keeps shedding. That's the point. Full conversation on our YouTube channel:

Autonomous agents rewrote the company's entire security policy. No one asked them to. The only reason it was caught? The SOC flagged the attempt to publish the changes. That's the scenario @kmariappan, Chief Transformation Officer at @rubrikInc, brought to RAISE Summit, not hypothetical, not future risk. Happening now, at scale, inside enterprises deploying autonomous agents to hit productivity targets. The mechanics are worth understanding. Agents don't just act alone. They collaborate, pool permissions, and escalate to complete tasks that no individual agent has full authority to do. Remove the human from the loop and you don't just lose oversight, you lose the ability to know what decisions are being made in your name. The uncomfortable math: the productivity gains are real. So is the blast radius when something goes wrong. Full conversation on our YouTube channel: #ReliveRAISE#

$23 billion in AI infrastructure demand. Then $99 billion the year after. That was the opening salvo from Ben Richardson (@CoreWeave) at RAISE Summit, and the number that silenced the room. Anthropic alone is projected to go from 1.5 gigawatts of compute to 10 by 2027. The equivalent of building today's Google, from scratch, in two years. Four companies racing to do the same simultaneously. @JeremieEO (@SemiAnalysis), June Paik (@FuriosaAI ), Vik Malyala (@Supermicro), @alex_saroyan (@netris_io), and Shaun O'Meara (@MirantisIT) unpacked what that actually requires, the energy, the infrastructure, the supply chain, and why none of it was built for this moment. By 2030, Tesla's ambitions in EVs and robotics could outpace the world's ability to make enough chips. Not because demand won't be there. Because wafers physically can't keep up. That's the constraint @SassineGhazi, President & CEO of @Synopsys, laid out at RAISE Summit 2026, in conversation with @CNBC's @ArjunKharpal on the democratisation of engineering. His answer starts with how chips are designed in the first place. Instead of one monolithic block, chips are becoming heterogeneous: memory, compute, and networking assembled like Lego bricks inside an advanced package. AI is accelerating that shift faster than most people realise. Sassine mapped chip design to the same autonomy levels used for self-driving cars, L1 through L5, with his view, the industry has reached L4. A cognitive layer that can reason, coordinate agents, and handle design tasks on its own. The bottleneck isn't ambition. It's architecture. And it's being redesigned. Screen. Keyboard. Mouse. That's still how most people "talk" to technology, and it hasn't changed in 40 years. At RAISE Summit, Gautier Cloix, CEO of H Company, called this out directly: despite how far technology has come, the way humans interact with it is almost prehistoric. He estimates 80 to 90% of work is execution, tasks humans are good at, sure, but not what they're best at. What people are actually great at is giving intention, and that's the layer AI should be built to serve. Gautier also had a clear challenge for anyone buying AI: demand real ROI, and demand it in weeks, not months. If nothing has changed after three months, his advice was blunt, fire the company. He backed that up with numbers of his own. H Company's models run at $3 per million tokens, compared to $125 per million tokens on some other frontier models, roughly 40 times cheaper to build and run, with a smaller carbon footprint too. Even Einstein needed a hundred failed attempts before the one that worked. At RAISE Summit, Ekin Dogus Cubuk, Co-CEO of Periodic Labs, made the case that real scientific progress has never come from a static dataset. It comes from a lab that can iterate with the universe itself, trying, failing, and trying again. He connected this to a deeper loop already underway: better AI helps design better chips, and better chips help build better AI. It's a new kind of Moore's Law, but rooted in physical hardware rather than just transistors. The twist making this iteration loop faster than ever? Cheap robotics. Cubuk pointed to simple robots, the kind that can make you coffee at SF airport, now available for around $10,000. That cost drop means physical experiments can now be run faster and far more often, accelerating the entire cycle of discovery. Which changes the arithmetic entirely. If a hundred failed attempts is the price of one breakthrough, the question stops being whether you have the insight and starts being how cheaply and how often you can be wrong. Einstein had a lifetime to run his hundred attempts. The next Einstein might have an afternoon. Subscribe to our YouTube channel to watch all RAISE Summit 2026 sessions ungated and free.

"Getting up is optional. Getting down is mandatory." That's a mountaineering saying, and it's also a core value at @CrusoeAI . @ChaseLochmiller joined @HenriDelahaye at RAISE Summit 2026 to talk through the company's founding bet: bring the compute to the energy, rather than the energy to the compute. A detail we loved: the acquisition of Aterio, now embedded in Crusoe's distributed memory layer, was finalised on a balcony at RAISE 2025. Deals get done in these rooms. His call on the next 24 months? Less announcement, more execution. The industry has made a lot of promises. Now it has to build them. In his @RAISESummit keynote, David Flynn explores the paradigm shift where AI acts as the new operating environment. Watch his keynote here:
For two days in July, Paris held the people deciding how the next era of technology gets built. 9,000+ attendees from 90 countries. 350+ speakers. 200+ sponsors. 822 CEOs. 80%+ of participants at C-suite or decision-making level. 168 Fortune 500, CAC 40, FTSE 100, DAX and S&P 500 companies represented. Over $600B in AUM in the building. Leaders from @Google, @Meta, @Lovable, @OpenAI, @Broadcom, @MistralAI, @IREN_Ltd, @cognition, @FireworksAI_HQ, and hundreds more were on the floor and on the stage, setting the agenda for the next decade of AI. @mcuban, @ylecun, @sk7037, @arthurmensch, and @manojnair among the voices that defined the programme. The verdict from the room speaks for itself. "The size of the conference has tripled since last year, and the calibre of speakers has actually improved. And so, it's literally the best AI conference in the world." — Helena Chao, @BankofAmerica. "There is so much room for success, and the need for collaboration is going to be significant. And I think that's going to really take an ecosystem. There's not going to be any one company, Google included, that can solve the problems up and down the stack. So it's going to require tremendous collaboration to make it all happen." - @AminVahdat, @Google Amin is right. No single company solves the stack. Which is precisely what RAISE was built for, not an audience, but a working floor. A room where the people who fund, build, buy and deploy actually meet: thousands of one-to-one meetings running alongside the programme. The stages set the agenda. The tables around them set things in motion. Thank you to every speaker, sponsor, partner, and attendee who made RAISE Summit 2026 the room where the industry comes to decide what happens next. A huge thank you to our partners at Final Chain Films, who documented every moment the way it deserved to be captured. And the room is about to get bigger. RAISE Summit is joining @hyve_group, the formula that built one of the world's most influential technology conferences in three editions now goes global. The 2026 summit ended. What it set in motion didn't.
