Dick Cheney assigned Scooter Libby as Fauci's handler and minder when Cheney placed Fauci in charge of US "biodefense" research.
This is wild - In 2007, after Scooter Libby's conviction in the CIA leak case (related to the Valerie Plame affair), Fauci sent a letter to the presiding judge.
Fauci vouched for Libby's "integrity, honesty, unselfishness, and tireless efforts." 😂🤣
