The anti-ALPR/Flock push is basically a replay of the anti-Gunshot Detection/ShotSpotter debate: Anti-police leftists (with the enthusiastic help of a handful of left-libertarians that almost always agree with them) are pushing this b/c they think policing is racist. DSA slop.
