The metric Ravi said he cares most about is not TVL or token price. It is how much capital @otus_finance brings onchain from people who have never held a crypto wallet before. The app is mobile-first, non-custodial, and deliberately built for someone whose only financial reference point is a savings account at their high street bank. That is a genuinely harder problem to solve than building for crypto natives, and a more important one for where the space needs to go.

Lower issuance is directionally positive for $SOL, but a 2.6% reduction over six years felt modest relative to the uncertainty around how faster disinflation could impact Solanaโs broader market dynamics. Thatโs ultimately why we voted against.
Either way, seeing governance work at this scale is a net positive for Solana and a testament to the strength of the network.
