A recent study found that poor sleep and depression share a common profile that can be predicted, in part, by everyday lifestyle factors. Eight experts have peer reviewed the preprint on ResearchHub, giving it an average score of 3.5/5 ⭐️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀: • Rarely confiding in others • Too much sedentary TV time • Low physical activity • Secondhand smoke exposure The model held up across independent datasets, including patients with clinical depression, suggesting these modifiable factors could be useful targets for prevention.
