I have just found the Clancy trial to be one of the most disturbing public events in recent memory.
It is a complete and utter failure of our health care system that ultimately led to the death of three kids and a family whose lives are all ruined.
It's a complete failure of our government that the prosecutors are turning this into a circus with no regard to the pain its cause everyone involved.
It's a complete failure of our information environment that people are basically writing whodunit fan fiction and harassing the whole family like this.
Everything about it exposes something that is fundamentally broken about our various systems. Truly painful to watch.
