A note on Harvard and Trump: The Judge who dismissed Trump's lawsuit, Richard Stearns, is the exact same judge who allowed my case to go to trial, establishing historic legal precedent already used by multiple American students across the country facing religious discrimination. To celebrate the former while ignoring the latter is bizarre. Harvard's OWN REPORT admits to allowing rampant religious discrimination, the only question is what happens now. The Judge believes although violations were committed in the past on the part of Harvard, they *no longer* are breaking the law, so no punishment is warranted. I say: the expenditure of federal dollars is a representation of our values. The American taxpayer should not be held hostage to fund a college that, by its own admission, violates the religious rights of its students. Lastly, I'm shocked, although not surprised that the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, and the National Council of Jewish Women all filed an Amicus Brief in support of Harvard. Those three organizations never once reached out to me or any American Jewish student at any point to ever offer to help, but jumped at the first opportunity to support Harvard and flex their anti-Trump credentials. I hope their donors know this.
