Thinking of getting a Tesla for the self driving.
I know it needs to be “supervised” but I’d love everyone’s thoughts who has one… what do you love/hate?
An advisor likely had him in a diversified portfolio which is why it won’t track the S&P 500 returns…
People who argue “advisor bad just VOO and chill” have a much too simplistic view of portfolio construction, and no concept of managing risk (especially for someone going into retirement).
It also begs the question what other services did the advisor provide for their fee?
I think VOO is an incredible asset to have exposure to, but people have to understand how to compare returns appropriately.
