Solo founding used to be considered odd.
But @Railway founder @JustJake chose to build Railway alone... and a big part of that was conviction.
He believes it's easier to develop deep conviction on your own than by constantly searching for consensus. Once he has that conviction, he surrounds himself with a "triad" of trusted people who challenge his thinking.
“It takes a while to develop that conviction on your own, and if you have another person or a triad of people, the rate at which your brain can fire and develop consensus on its own is a million times faster than trying to communicate these things to other people.”
