Before this war, TD3C (Ras Tanura to Ningbo VLCC route) was around $40,000 - $100,000 per day: now it’s $1,200,000.
The VLCC market has entered another dimension.
- TD3C: >$1.2M/day
- TD34: >$750K/day
- TD22: ~$400K/day
The real story? Hormuz disruption means more VLCCs are needed to move fewer barrels, shuttle legs, STS transfers and longer positioning are eating up capacity.
