This is heartbreaking news. I am so sorry for the loss of a brave and dedicated soldier who served in the @Int_Corps and demonstrated all the courage and qualities of the finest in our service.
The Good Friday Agreement is clear.
Unless the people of Northern Ireland say otherwise, they will remain part of the UK.
The government of Ireland and the UK agreed this, as America has always understood.
