COPPER JUST HIT A SPEED BUMP
LME inventories jumped by more than 20,000 tonnes, easing the immediate supply squeeze and pushing copper back below $14,000/tonne.
But one inventory jump does not solve the long-term supply problem.
That is where $NRED gets interesting. Wilmac is still an early-stage exploration story, but the company recently identified 23 potassium anomalies and 18 structural corridors across the project.
If copper remains structurally tight, the market will eventually need new discoveries, not just more metal moving into warehouses.
Short term: watch copper support.
Long term: watch who is looking for the next supply
