APPLE LAUNCHES SIRI AI WITH PERSONAL CONTEXT, GEMINI INTEGRATION Apple has begun rolling out its rebuilt Siri AI in beta with iOS 27, giving the assistant access to personal context across messages, emails, photos and other on-device information. The new Siri adds onscreen awareness and systemwide app actions, allowing it to understand what a user is viewing and take actions such as adding events to a calendar, drafting emails, finding information buried in messages or pulling details from photos. Apple says the new Apple Intelligence architecture uses its own foundation models built in collaboration with Google and Gemini, with processing split between on-device models and Private Cloud Compute. Siri also gets a dedicated app with conversation history synced across Apple devices, while Visual Intelligence expands into the Camera app, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro. One notable monetization detail: Apple says some server-side AI features will have daily usage limits, with expanded access available for a fee in the future. Siri AI is launching first in English on Apple Intelligence-capable devices, including the iPhone 15 Pro and newer models.
