This is disgusting and should not be happening under an admin that claims to care about stopping animal abuse.
Throwback to meeting Uno, the first beagle rescued from Fauci's NIH puppy experiments. Because of @WhiteCoatWaste Uno and many others now have loving homes instead of a lab cage. We will never stop fighting for all of God's creatures.

Nicole Kleinstreuer — NIH’s “Animal Testing Czar” — publicly promised to phase out testing on dogs. Since that promise, @NIH gave the University of Utah more than $2M in additional taxpayer money. 180 dogs — mostly young hounds — will be cut open and killed.

In 2024, after David Morens’ attempts to evade FOIA to protect Fauci were first exposed, Fauci threw him under the bus...calling Morens conduct an “outlier” that was “totally unacceptable", "very inappropriate," and "illegal" Morens should return the favor

“White Coat Waste Project — a bipartisan group founded by a GOP strategist — first exposed the allegations of experiments on innocent pups, claiming NIAID approved a $375,000 grant to researchers based in Tunisia, who drugged the pooches and confined their heads in mesh cages full of infected sand flies.” 📰 FAUCI’S ANIMAL TORTURE COVER-UP Pleads Fifth when COVID grilling gets too hot! The Globe, August 24, 2026 Fuming Dr. Anthony Fauci — America’s former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director — tapped “media friends” and political allies to help quash the 2021 hubbub over allegations that his agency funded painful experiments on beagles that were ultimately put to death, according to records recently released by Sen. Rand Paul. Fauci’s diary entries — which Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says were dug up by the Trump administration from 11 separate government servers before their release — suggest the nation’s former COVID czar worked overtime to protect his image and shake the shameful stain of what became known as Beagle-gate. White Coat Waste Project — a bipartisan group founded by a GOP strategist — first exposed the allegations of experiments on innocent pups, claiming NIAID approved a $375,000 grant to researchers based in Tunisia, who drugged the pooches and confined their heads in mesh cages full of infected sand flies. The project’s report claims the biting insects ate the helpless animals alive before the canines were killed. At the time, Republican and Democratic members of Congress condemned the alleged experiment and other supposed acts — and the released notes by Fauci appear to show the doc scrambling to save his reputation. “It is so very clear now that this is a concerted effort to discredit me and assassinate my character,” Fauci writes in an entry dated Oct. 26, 2021. “We have countered the attacks regarding the Beagle dog experiments, but still the attacks continue falsely claiming that NIAID funded the studies.” In November 2021, Fauci noted that he received a call from former President Barack Obama, who “expressed concern” and offered to “call up” then-President Joe Biden’s chief of staff or other officials “to have the administration be proactive in countering these lies.” The now-retired bureaucrat also discussed his media pals in the diaries, claiming a Washington Post scribe “agreed to write a story trying to uncover the source of this organized effort to discredit me.” After the release of the records, Fauci, 85, appeared before the Senate to face questioning regarding the origins of COVID-19 and federal funding of risky “gain of function” research in China that some have blamed for the deadly pandemic. Seemingly rattled Fauci pleaded the Fifth Amendment about 110 times during the contentious hearing, invoking his right against potential self-incrimination — and accused Paul of making “repeated slanderous comments” and trying to put him “behind bars” over his handling of the health scourge. Yet, agitated Paul continued to press, pointing out the doc was given a full pardon from Biden in January 2025, and vowed, “There will be repercussions to your refusal to testify.” @SenRandPaul

“White Coat Waste, the campaign group which uncovered that the NIH had funded potentially dangerous work at the Wuhan lab, called for the maximum penalty. Anthony Bellotti, founder of White Coat Waste, said: ‘David Morens deserves the maximum penalty for conspiring to defraud taxpayers and for hiding what really happened in Wuhan.’”

CBS News Investigation: Thousands of beagles bred for research get a new life as questions mount over federal oversight.
“The taxpayer watchdog group White Coat Waste Project (WCW), which first exposed NIH’s gain-of-function funding in Wuhan and the infamous ‘BeagleGate’ dog experiments, previously warned that Morens was not acting alone. Responding to news of the guilty plea, the founder of White Coat Waste, Anthony Bellotti, told The Gateway Pundit: "In April 2020, White Coat Waste was the very first to expose Fauci’s funding for gain-of-function animal experiments at the Wuhan lab — and ever since we’ve led the campaign to hold Fauci and his cronies accountable for abusing animals and their COVID cover-up. David Morens deserves the maximum penalty for conspiring to defraud taxpayers and for hiding what really happened in Wuhan." @CassandraRules @anthonybellotti

- A new White Coat Waste (WCW) investigation exposes Marshall BioResources (aka Marshall Farms) — the nation’s largest commercial breeder of dogs and cats for labs — as a key supplier for cruel taxpayer-funded experiments. - Marshall confines more than 15,000 dogs and 1,100 cats at its breeding facilities in upstate New York, according to its most recent federal inspections. - Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) records and other documents uncovered by WCW tie dogs and cats from Marshall to ongoing National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded experiments that involve inducing heart failure, obesity, diabetes, spinal cord injuries, decerebration, toxoplasmosis infection, and other painful, ultimately deadly, procedures. - Marshall has supplied beagles for some of the most disturbing experiments ever exposed by WCW, including Fauci-funded tests that cut the dogs’ vocal cords, infested them with ticks and flies, and force-fed them experimental drugs. - Just since Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. took office in February 2025, the NIH has spent over $175 million in new funding on cat and dog experimentation, including renewing support for many of Fauci’s dog and cat labs that abuse animals from Marshall. - WCW is working with Congress to cut taxpayer funding to Marshall Farms and all other dog and cat labs and their shady suppliers.

Democrats have generally opposed Donald Trump’s wider cuts to science funding. Animal research, however, seems to be an exception

For some the case for moving away from animal research rests on the idea that new technology can replace it. But few of those developing the technologies agree
Lab animals deserve a second chance at life. Not a death sentence. Our Violet's Law amendment included in the House-passed Farm Bill requires federal agencies to prioritize adoption over euthanasia for lab animals no longer needed for research. These labs are putting down dogs, cats, hamsters, and rabbits on the taxpayer's dime. Simply because no one made finding them a home a priority or a requirement. Our amendment says no more. A healthy animal should never be euthanized when a loving home is waiting. Never.

🔥 “White Coat Waste told me that every holdover from the ‘Fauci era’ at NIH ought to be fired for their involvement in gain-of-function research, which the group sees as responsible for creating COVID.” 📰 Lab-Leak Payback Has Begun By: Daniel Engber @danengber July 7, 2026 The Atlantic “The strongest argument for connecting all of these cases is that lab-leak activists themselves have done the same. Anthony Bellotti @anthonybellotti, the founder and president of the White Coat Waste Project, an animal-activist group that has leveraged the lab-leak theory in pursuit of its goal of ending all taxpayer-funded animal testing, declared that ‘Morens’ indictment should be the beginning—not the end—of long-overdue lab leak accountability at National Institutes of Health (NIH).’ Just two weeks before Munster was indicted on charges that seem to have no connection with the pandemic, Bellotti’s group joined the right-wing activist @LauraLoomer Laura Loomer in hawking what they called a “whistleblower report” about the virologist’s alleged misdeeds. … Justin Goodman @JustinRGoodman, the senior vice president for advocacy at White Coat Waste, told me that every holdover from the ‘Fauci era’ at NIH ought to be fired for their involvement in gain-of-function research, which the group sees as responsible for creating COVID. ‘I would throw Morens, Munster, and Taubenberger all in the same box of reckless and arrogant animal experimenters who fucked around and are finding out,’ he said.”
