This weekend, we hosted our annual Lowcountry Service Academy Day alongside members of the South Carolina delegation. Representatives from West Point, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, the Coast Guard Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, and The Citadel met with nearly 150 local high school students and their parents to share what a future at these prestigious institutions looks like. Politicians aren't in office to make you feel good about yourself. Speaking the truth, putting the American people first, and being transparent is the job. Here's some truth: Tim McBride is 100% a MAN.

Our veterans sacrificed everything. The least we can do is make sure they have access to every possible treatment. We introduced the PEPTIDES for Veterans Act, directing the VA to study peptide-based therapies for pain, recovery, mental health, and rehabilitation. The VA shouldn't bury promising advancements in bureaucracy simply because they're new. Study it. Test it. Follow the evidence. If it works, veterans deserve access. Washington's red tape should never stand between a veteran and their chance to heal.

R*pe a child, and you don't get a second chance. You get the death penalty. We introduced the Death Penalty for Child Rapists Act to authorize capital punishment for those convicted of the most heinous crimes against children under federal law. No predator should walk away from crimes this unthinkable. We will never apologize for protecting America's children.

Millions of children visit the Smithsonian National Museum of American History every year. Their parents expect them to learn about America's founding, its history, and its heroes. Instead, the Director put drag queens, naked women, and BDSM exhibits on display. She featured a six-year-old's diary entry about wanting a penis. She told children, "girls can be assigned male at birth." This museum has become a taxpayer-funded indoctrination center. We're not having it.

This week, we became the 218th and final signature on the Major Richard Star Act Discharge Petition, the threshold needed to force a House floor vote. Combat-injured veterans have been forced to forfeit part of the retirement pay they earned simply because they also receive VA disability compensation for injuries sustained in combat. Washington has been nickel-and-diming veterans who put their lives on the line for ours. Enough is enough. It's time to bring the Major Richard Star Act to the floor and let Congress vote.

The real setback in women's sports is not Sydney Sweeney's provocative ad for a sports betting company. It's the biological men who are being allowed to compete against women. Taking away their titles, scholarships, trophies, safety and overall sense of autonomy. Men have no place in women's sports. Let's talk about it.

Republicans have the majority. What we don’t have is the courage to use it. Today Republicans have a governing trifecta: the House, the Senate and the White House. If we fail to pass legislation that permanently secures the border, addresses the affordability crisis, improves health care and restores law and order, we will lose this majority.
