The grand jury reviewing the case of Nolan Wells, an 18-year-old who was found dead after going missing following an outing with friends on Mississippi's Horn Island on the Fourth of July, has determined there was no criminal wrongdoing in the teen's death.

Vice President JD Vance says the Trump administration is stopping Obamacare enrollment for roughly 750,000 people it believes are improperly enrolled, part of an effort he says will save $2.2 billion in taxpayer money.
“We're actually making sure that the people receiving Obamacare subsidies are actually entitled to receive them,” Vance says, adding that the administration will conduct additional eligibility verification for about 419,000 people.

The University of Mississippi police are investigating the deaths of two university students. They said they found Kratom sold from a retail store during both investigations, but the cause of the two deaths has not yet been determined.
Residents and university students are being asked to avoid the use of Kratom or any other medication or substance not prescribed by a trusted or regulated source as the investigations are ongoing. CBS News’ @cbenavidesTV has more.
