Decolonization is not canvassing for Zohran Mamdani. Decolonization means war lol.
So let’s be clear: decolonization is a violent phenomenon. Decolonization means waging a war for independence. It means a people becoming conscious of themselves as a people, separating from their colonizer and all of its institutions and establishing their own governance.
