Britain is represented by its official government. It is the antisemitic, communist, jihadist labour atm. Under this government , the official position of the British government had been incredibly hostile to Israel, and to British Jews. Btw, even the right in the UK does not recognise our sovereignty in East Jerusalem (our capital ) and the Golan heights. Why then would we Israelis be expected to support Britain’s claim to a rock, half a world away from the UK? Our claim to Jerusalem is much stronger than Britain’s claim to the Falkland. We certainly lost the PR war in the United Islamic Kingdom, but we gained great friendships in places like Latin America (especially Argentina) and a “small” country of 1.5 billion people called India. You win some you lose some 🤷‍♂️
