Apparently after listening to Hostin reasoning she does not know that a woman has won statewide election in South Carolina twice and significantly.
@NikkiHaley won her two gubernatorial elections in South Carolina in 2010 and 2014, significantly expanding her support in her reelection campaign.
In 2010 Election: Haley defeated Democrat Vincent Sheheen by a 4.5% four years later she won a rematch against Sheheen by a 14.5% margin.
To suggest that it would be improbable for a woman to win South Carolina and would be "DEI" is both uneducated, but also incredibly insulting to what Haley accomplished. I remember distinctly I covered both elections.
