i had an old project with microservices split across several DigitalOcean droplets. classic over-engineering from a few years ago. fable 5.1 rebuilt it as one monolith on a single droplet.
also swapped the paid SSL certs for Cloudflare ones. that's $0 now.
still 50% resources free, and i can resize the droplet whenever i need more.
the hard part was the prompt. i spent most of the time explaining the architecture, where every piece sits, and what the end result should look like. the migration was quick after that
