Thank you for featuring @sundayrobotics in your piece! @ryajetha The team has been crushing it. Last month they previewed ACT-2. It is the first model to show that reliability gains from in-house post-training can actually transfer zero-shot to new environments. Robotics models usually look great in demos and then fall apart the second conditions change (the generalization gap). ACT-2 largely closed that gap by scaling high-quality pre-training with diverse human demonstration data. Once closed, they could hill-climb performance in the lab with confidence that those gains would hold in the wild. They hit 99.1%+ zero-shot success on laundry folding across unseen homes and garments. Memo starts shipping into homes this fall, and laundry is just task #1# cc @tonyzzhao @chichengcc
