saw two screenshots come across my feed one was someone top blasting $META the other was someone locking in a 7% coupon buying $ORCL bonds expiring in 2050 lol both retail investors talk about a divided market you can’t hate the AI trade because it is still THE trade…but you can’t deny that these yields going up like a memestock might eventually catch up to the market if the AI trade is going to fight the Fed by hyper scalers offering yields higher than a US 10/30 year bond (which has been part of the reason for the competition for capital pushing US treasury yields higher) then maybe we will have to get used to higher yields in general… id still rather buy growth stocks over bonds though 😂 generational technology being built in front of us with an annoying macro but the macro can change, the fundamentals on this buildout aren’t going away that easily
