Announcing our $15 million Series A, led by @Standard_Cap with participation from @ycombinator, @Vox_Capital, and other notable funds and angels. This brings our total funding to $30 million. We’re building an autonomous surgery platform to give every patient access to the world’s best surgeon. It’s like a sous chef for surgery. The surgeon sets the plan and the platform executes. Surgeons have successfully treated 44 patients with our product so far. This round will fund initial launch and initial scale-up. We're cleared to launch in New Zealand and Canada, with more clearances expected soon. Surgery is a $3.7 trillion global market, and a better application for autonomy than driving. But while autonomous vehicles are already widespread on public roads, most surgical robots have very limited intelligence. That changes now. Surgery will soon become one of the most important applications of physical AI. Andromeda is ready to lead the way.
