An agent found 103 UGC creators for the affirmations app I'm building, emailed 87 of them, and set follow-ups for a day later. UGC means user generated content, the casual creator videos apps run as ads. Building that list by hand used to cost me tens of hours. Fit is the expensive part of creator marketing. In 2026 surveys, 48 percent of marketers call finding and connecting with the right small creators their biggest hurdle, and follower counts point the wrong way: micro accounts on Instagram average 3.86 percent engagement while accounts past a million sit at 1.21. A small account whose voice carries weight in one niche beats a generic page ten times its size. TopYappers runs the whole search from one dashboard. It pulls from a database of 43 million creators, grades every match A+ to F on niche fit, and shows followers, engagement, and estimated rates before you write a word. The F grades are my favorite detail, since they clear out the maybe pile before it forms. My app's match list came back with 100 names, mostly 2K to 39K accounts holding 4 to 20 percent engagement, priced from $32. Then the outreach agent takes over with custom-subject emails, follow-ups after one day, and performance deals like $1 per 1,000 views. Eighty-seven personalized emails went out while I wrote code, and every reply lands in one connected inbox with negotiation handled inside the platform. At tens of hours saved per campaign, creator discovery stops being the step where app founders quit.
