The institutional entry into $ETH now has a distinct front door. Adoption has climbed steadily over the years, but until recently there wasn't a clear path for institutions to engage with $ETH and eventually stake it. Institutional ETH staking has grown from 2% to more than 11% over the past few years. The staking rate is reaching all-time highs while the exit queue continues to shorten. The writing on the wall is clear: institutions are locking up ETH for the long term. With 60% of the total stablecoin supply and a proven track record of stability, the launch of ETH Institutional formalizes Ethereum as the default settlement layer for institutions.
