$BTC has seen a series of bullish patterns broken, evidence of the power of the downtrend. Will this 'W' be the one that breaks the trend?
Here is a chart highlighting a developing 'W' pattern in bitcoin:native. Note that it is perfectly fractal. The are small 'w's at the nadirs and a small 'm' at the apex. For extra credit look at the weekly to see a higher time frame fractal 'W'.

Yesterday our trend model for Bitcoin turned positive and we took a position in our Tactica program, which is now fully invested. $BTC

Re my previous post about the base, squeeze, and breakout in $BTCUSD. Someone asked about $ETHUSD. Same pattern, a bit delayed, following not leading.
And ripple, strong lift, but the pattern is weaker. BTC > ETH > XRP for now.

4 of 4: So, right or wrong? From one perspective I have been 'wrong' many, many times and will be wrong again many, many times. From another, I have only been wrong when I didn't follow my discipline. Happy trading.

3 of 4: 'Broken' patterns contian as much information that we should pay attention to as 'successful' ones. This is a very important concept. Setups that don't work as expected contain important environmental data. To wit, the breakage of the November pattern was itself a negative forecast.

2 of 4: In early November I spotted another BB pattern and it failed. As soon as it made a new low that was your exit. That was also a fire alarm. We look for these patterns all the time, places where the odds of success are in our favour and the amount risked is less than the potential gain. Setups are setups, they are neither right or wrong, they just tell us to be alert to a potential trade.

1 of 4: Right or worng? In October I spotted a BTCUSD BB pattern that resulted in a trip to the upper band. We 'should' have seen a better gain out of that pattern, so its 'failure' was an alert of potential weakness.
