A BOMBSHELL study out of Finland shows that the left's plan to push for "transitioning" kids... is actually HARMING them. Gee - we're so surprised. ⠀ Riittakerttu Ruuska’s team published the cohort in Acta Paediatrica on April 4, 2026. It pulled every under-23 patient who contacted Finland’s specialised gender services from 1996 through 2019. ⠀ That is 2,083 patients and 16,643 matched controls. Follow-up ran as long as 25 years because Finnish health registers are mandatory and nobody opts out. ⠀ The clinics sit at Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) and Tampere University Hospital (TAYS). Iltalehti reported 38.2% of the referred group later received hormones or surgery. ⠀ Among those medicalized, psychiatric morbidity rose from 9.8% to 60.7% on the feminising track. It rose from 21.6% to 54.5% on the masculinising track. ⠀ After adjusting for prior psychiatric treatment, gender-referred youth still had about five times the risk of male controls. They had about three times the risk of female controls. ⠀ Before the first clinic visit, 45.7% already had psychiatric morbidity against 15.0% of controls. Two or more years after referral it was 61.7% against 14.6%. ⠀ Kids referred after 2010 arrived sicker. 47.9% had already needed psychiatric treatment versus 15.3% of controls. ⠀ The authors wrote, "Psychiatric needs do not subside after medical gender reassignment." They said gender distress may be secondary to other mental-health problems for some of these adolescents. ⠀ Finland’s COHERE panel had already broken with the Dutch protocol in June 2020. Psychotherapy became first-line. Hormones were limited to rare, clearly established cases. Surgery on minors was out. ⠀ The Cass Review in England reached the same fork in 2024 and shut the Tavistock assembly line. American left institutions still sell blockers and cross-s*x hormones as settled care. ⠀ That is the agenda.
