I've collected code-based artworks for less than $100 and sold them for 10-25k USD, and in between that time practically nobody "cared" until the price went insane. You gotta stop expecting artists to work for you. They've already made the art. Once it's out there, it's up to US to share commentary and show outward appreciation and value for their craft. Stop expecting artists to move their own markets. That's (literally) the job of the world. That's the job of people who feel incredibly motivated to see work they love find the admiration it deserves. Does that mean we'll be shouting into a void until it happens? Oftentimes: yes. There's a serious disconnect in Web3, with people expecting easy money by doing literally no work other than investing it in the first place. The blame is put almost entirely on platforms, curators, and galleries, but if a community isn't going to form and mingle and share commentary, nothing is going to change. Everyone can see when there isn't authentic interest and time invested into something. If you're just expecting things to change and wondering why it hasn't, become the change you want to see.
