The Cosmos Hub is stable and running normally.
The funds secured during the restart came from the Neutron governance attack and were bridged to the Hub; there was no vulnerability on the Hub itself. They are now held in a community validator multisig.
Hub validators, the Neutron ecosystem, and affected protocols are coordinating on recovery.
Neutron will share a post-mortem, and a Hub forum update will follow in the coming days.
Thank you to all validators and community members for the swift, coordinated response in support of another network.

Cosmos Hub validators are coordinating with the affected teams to resume the network.
Reminder: the Hub itself was not exploited. Validators independently paused the network following the Neutron governance exploit, which limited movement of stolen ATOM and gave exchanges time to act.
Validators are preparing a network update, expected later today, intended to address the stolen ATOM currently held on the Hub.

The Cosmos Hub validators have temporarily halted the network to mitigate ATOM losses from a governance exploit on @neutron_org. The Hub itself is not affected.
The community is identifying and isolating wallets with impacted funds and will decide what to do with them before resuming operations.
