When I was around six years old, I really didn't want my dad to leave, so I secretly climbed into the back seat of his car as he was getting ready to go. He stopped at a local convenience store presumably for cigarettes and when I peeked out the rear window, he spotted me and drove me right back home. That is pretty much all I remember from that day. โ€‹My dad used to drop me off at preschool extra early, back when it was still dark outside, and for a while, I was always the first one there. Looking back, it is funny how much I loved playing in the pretend kitchen setup at school. I also used to struggle with writing my home address because my young brain could not comprehend why 32 and 302 were not the same thing. โ€‹Once, during nap time, my cot happened to be parked right next to a pack of markers. I decided to use a raspberry red one as lipstick and ended up getting in trouble. The school sent a note home about it; I tried to throw it away, but my mom found it anyway. โ€‹When I was little, we had an incredible 14 Dalmatian puppies 10 girls and 4 boys. We kept one of the male pups and named him Max. I actually wanted the one we called Cuddles, but beggars cannot be choosers! I miss you so much.

Im grateful for headphones for allowing me to listen to songs on repeat forty times without completely maddening other people.
