I've always thought ResearchHub was cool, in a super non-traditional way. It's the kind of thing young scientists get excited about, but old guys probably get confused by.
Then a White House report outlined an oddly similar vision.

Last month, they noticed a bottleneck in neuroscience: brain organoids can only be grown so big / realistic.
They offered $25k to fund research in this area. Got 16 proposals from scientists worldwide.
<1 month later, the funding is sent 🤝
